- Import permit from UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE)
- Microchip details required
- Pets must be over 4 months old
- Official rabies vaccination certificate needed
- Rabies vaccination required for cats and dogs
- 21-day wait after rabies vaccine before export
- Official Export Health Certificate issued by APHA and certified by an OV not more than 24 hours before departure
- Any other vaccination records should be attached
- Dogs require DHP & Lepto vaccination
- Dogs need a declaration confirming they are not one of the restricted breeds
- Additional health requirements on the import permit may apply
